10 TIPS FOR HEALTHY HAPPY LIFE!

How much healthy are you? Do you have a healthy diet? Do you exercise regularly? Do you have  at least eight glasses of water a day? Do you get enough sleep every day? Do you live a healthy lifestyle?

     Our body is our temple and we really need to take care of it. Good health is not just about healthy eating and exercise — it’s also about having a positive attitude, a positive self-image, and a healthy lifestyle. In this article, I share 10 tips of healthy eating for an active lifestyle

1.Drink  maximum 8 glasses of water

Stay hydrated by drinking water .Always keep a water bottle with you while travelling or going outdoors.

2. Prefer having fruits and vegetables

Eat variety of fruits and vegetables so that it can energize you. When we eat a large diversity of fruits/vegetables, it creates a variety of good bacteria in our gut, which creates a strong defense line between us and the environment, improves our immune system and strengthens our health.

3. Energize yourself with grains

Our body’s quickest energy source comes from foods such as bread, pasta, oatmeal and cereals. Be sure to make at least half of your grain food choices whole-grain foods like whole-wheat bread or brown rice.

4. Power yourself with protein

 Our body uses protein to repair tissues. Body also use protein to make enzymes, hormones, and  many other body chemicals. So get your protein from egg, meat, cheese and nuts.

5. Mix your diet with plant protein foods

Variety is great! Choose beans and peas. Soya products (tofu, tempeh, veggie burgers), and unsalted nuts and seeds.

6. Dairy products are must

Foods like fat-free and low-fat milk, cheese, yogurt, and fortified soy beverages (soyamilk) help to build and maintain strong bones needed for everyday activities

7. Do you Exercise

 Movement is life. Regular exercising does multiple things including an increase in lifespan, lowering of risk of diseases, higher bone density, and weight loss. Increase the activity in your life. Choose walking over transport for close distances. Climb the stairs instead of taking the lift. Join an aerobics class or a dance class. Pick a sport that you like.

8. Meditate

 Meditation always quietens your mind and calms your soul. You just have to follow the right way. It leads to a stress free day.

9. Get atleast 7-8 hours of sleep

When you do not rest well, you compensate by eating more. Usually, it’s junk food. Also, lack of sleep causes premature aging and who will want that.

10. Always love yourself

Self-love is very important  part of living a healthy life. Always keep yourself on a priority list. When you have a negative self-image, it naturally weighs down on your mental outlook and health. Appreciate yourself  everyday.

   Well, it’s really difficult to manage your healthy lifestyle with the busy schedules that one have. But we should not forget good health and good sense is a life greatest blessings and we should always give a priority to it. So people, drink water, eat natural food , think positive, exercise daily , sleep well and don’t forget to count your blessings.
